Servicemen of the separate Sevastopol motorized rifle brigade of the combined arms army of the Western Military District, stationed in the Leningrad Region, within the framework of training with grenade launchers, fired from hand-held anti-tank grenade launchers at emerging and moving targets.

During practical exercises, the servicemen from the RPG-7V hit about 50 different targets imitating tanks and armored personnel carriers of a conventional enemy located at a distance of 50 to 100 meters. The exercises were performed individually by each trainee from different positions.

In addition, the grenade launchers worked out methods of disguised movement on the battlefield, equipping firing positions, camouflaging and hitting targets of a simulated enemy in defensive and offensive combat.

In order to comply with the sanitary and epidemiological regime, all servicemen used personal protective equipment – medical masks.

In total, more than 100 servicemen of the guards unit and about 20 units of weapons and military equipment were involved in live firing.
