Order dated July 12, 2021 No. 1896-r

On behalf of the President, the government continues to work on renewing the ambulance fleet and purchasing school buses. More than 15 billion rubles will be allocated for these purposes. The order was signed by Prime Minister Mikhail Mishustin.

Thus, more than 5.5 billion rubles are allocated for the purchase of ambulances. This will allow purchasing at least 1.6 thousand cars. Mikhail Mishustin spoke about the importance of updating the fleet of such cars on July 9 at a meeting of the Coordination Council to combat the spread of coronavirus. “In many hospitals there are not enough ambulances, and those that exist are often badly worn out,” the Prime Minister noted.

According to him, because of this, people have to wait too long for the arrival of doctors. The problem is especially acute in remote areas and rural areas. “This poses huge health risks. It shouldn’t be like that, ”Mikhail Mishustin emphasized.

Almost 10 billion rubles will be allocated for the purchase of at least 4.1 thousand school buses. This is also an extremely important area, especially for rural areas.

The issue was discussed at a meeting of the Government on July 8. “Schoolchildren should be able to conveniently get to the educational institution,” – said, commenting on the decision, Mikhail Mishustin.

Funds for the purchase of school buses and ambulances will be allocated to the Ministry of Industry and Trade. Source – the reserve fund of the Government.
