Over 1.6 thousand lieutenants-graduates of higher educational institutions of the Russian Ministry of Defense, as well as military training centers of the country’s universities, arrived in the troops of the Southern Military District (YuVO) to undergo further service in the ranks of the Armed Forces.

Before being appointed to primary officer military positions, young lieutenants undergo training sessions for adaptation and commissioning. These events are carried out with the aim of assisting in the formation of recent graduates of higher military educational institutions in positions, as well as for teaching young officers how to organize various combat training events and daily activities during military service.

During the training camp, the officers who arrived will undergo a questionnaire survey on social and psychological issues, perform shooting exercises and standards, and pass tests in all the main subjects of vocational training.

A reserve of service housing has been created to accommodate both officers with families and single officers. Places for children in preschool institutions have been reserved, assistance has been organized in the employment of the wives of young officers.

This summer, the Southern Military District will replenish more than 1.7 thousand graduates of higher educational institutions of the Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation, as well as military training centers of Russian universities.
