At the Adanak training ground in the Republic of Dagestan, snipers of the marine corps of the Caspian Flotilla (CFL) worked out the tasks of camouflaging and covert movement in mountainous and wooded areas.

The servicemen improved their skills in choosing and preparing a firing position, covert movement to the place of a combat training mission, working in a pair of snipers, firing from awkward positions, and retreating when detected.

Also, snipers worked out tactics of action in various conditions of the situation at night and during the day. Under the guidance of instructors and unit commanders, servicemen learned various methods of reconnaissance and orientation in unfamiliar terrain.

In preparation, special attention was paid to reconnaissance of targets and determining the range to them, conducting aimed fire from SVD and SVD-S sniper rifles at distances from 500 to 1500 m.

In the field, servicemen received the practice of using modern sniper rifles, as well as camouflage suits that ensure stealth and ease of use in mountainous conditions.

In total, more than 30 servicemen of the sniper units of the KFL marines took part in the combat training events.
