In the city of Vologda, filming of a documentary film about the life and work of the famous Vologda philanthropist, honorary citizen of the city, founder of one of the first foundations in support of science, Christopher Ledentsov, began. The project is being implemented with the support of the city administration.

Today the shooting took place in the building of the escort department, where the prominent Vologda philanthropist lived and worked in the second half of the 19th century. The film crew was interested in the facades and general views of the building, preserved interior decoration, spiral staircases, and interior items.

As part of the press tour, film director Dmitry Chernetsov and producer Vladislav Kalashnikov told regional media representatives about the filming of the film, the main idea of ​​the project and its implementation.

The screening of the film is scheduled for 2022, to mark the 180th anniversary of the birth of Christopher Ledentsov.
