In the “Active Citizen” project, voting on improvement of the heading “Pulse of the Capital”… It was launched a year ago. With its help, Muscovites learn about city news, and also evaluate them in a game format using emoji emoticons.

“During the year of the“ Capital Pulse ”rubric, we received more than 1.7 million assessments of citizens by almost 100“ pulses ”- facts about the life and development of Moscow. This format of feedback with residents allows you to quickly find out the opinion of citizens about the changes in the capital and take this into account in the future work of the city authorities, ”said Alexander Pischelko, head of the New Management Technologies State Institution.

Thus, Muscovites have already appreciated the development of infrastructure and services in the capital, the organization of events, and the conduct of educational programs. The highest average ratings were received by news about new trains in the metro and city trams “Vityaz-Moscow”.

Now, in the voting, the project participants are invited to choose which areas and topics should be added to the heading. Muscovites will also determine how to improve the “Pulse of the Capital” for the convenience of users. Citizens can choose the proposed answer options and write their wishes.

The heading “Pulse of the Capital” in the “Active Citizen” project is available to all authorized participants. It can be recognized by the purple banner. In the mobile application, the banner appears in the main feed, and on the project site – on the right side of the screen. The rubric includes issues related to the development of urban infrastructure, cultural and leisure activities, environmental projects, as well as sports, innovation and educational programs.

The Active Citizen project for online voting on urban issues was launched in 2014. More than five million people have already become its participants, of which almost two million joined in 2020. Muscovites determine which streets, courtyards and park areas need to be improved, how city polyclinics, libraries, multifunctional centers should operate, and also choose events for festivals and celebrations.

Since the beginning of the project, the townspeople have taken part in more than 4.9 thousand votes. The decisions supported by the majority are implemented in the city. Also, from the end of 2020, project participants can send the points accumulated in the project to charity.
