Grain exports from Russia in the 2020-2021 agricultural year (July 1, 2020 – June 30, 2021) increased by 14% compared to the previous year and amounted to 49.8 million tons. on its head Julia Koroleva.

“Over the past year, 58.7 million tons of Russian grain and its processed products were shipped to the international market (+ 10% by 2019-2020), while the export of grain crops increased by 14%, to 49.8 million tons,” – noted in the message.

In relation to other product groups, there is a significant increase in the export of processed products – up to almost 1 million tons (+ 31%) and an increase in the export of legumes, which amounted to 1.3 million tons (+ 7%).

Earlier, the Ministry of Agriculture announced that the export of grain from the Russian Federation in the 2020-2021 agricultural year, according to preliminary data, exceeded 48 million tons, of which wheat – 37.5 million tons. According to the ministry’s estimates, the total volume of crop exports will be one of the highest in the country’s history. In addition, Russia will once again take the leading position in the world in the supply of wheat. The export potential in the current season is tentatively estimated at 51 million tons of grain.
