Children scored a record number of points in the team competition.

The team of the children’s technopark “Mosgormash” became the winner of the Russian championship in models of off-road vehicles with an electric motor (in 1/10 scale). The guys performed with cars that they themselves designed and manufactured in one of the design teams in the children’s technopark.

As a result, a team of students under the age of 14 scored the maximum possible 1600 points. In the individual competition, 10-year-old Alexander Shurmin won one gold and five silver medals, and nine-year-old Maxim Malyshko received five gold medals. In addition, the guys won the title of national champions.

“Finding and supporting talented young people in the field of technical creativity and information technology, as well as focusing them on engineering professions is one of the tasks of the ecosystem of children’s technoparks, which our Department develops. The team of the children’s technopark “Mosgormash” in April also took part in the All-Russian competition of radio-controlled cars (on a short track). Then the guys took the second place in the team.

After the victory, the team members were added to the list of gifted children on the Talents of Russia platform. In the future, this will help them when entering universities. Three winners were included in the Russian national team.

The championship and championship of Russia in SUV models was held from 6 to 11 July in Kuznetsk (Penza region). Moscow was represented by two teams of the Mosgormash children’s technopark, subordinate to the Department of Entrepreneurship and Innovative Development. A member of the second team, which included children under 17 years old, Roman Markin (13 years old) managed to win a bronze medal.

The competition is one of the events of the All-Russian Scientific and Technical Olympiad among students on car modeling and radio-controlled cars (SUVs, long track) as part of the All-Russian Open Festival of Scientific and Technical Creativity of Students “Trajectory of Technical Thought – 2021”.
