The section between Sportivnaya and Troparevo stations will be closed from 17 July to 8 August.

During the closure of the section of the Sokolnicheskaya metro line between the Sportivnaya and Troparevo stations, free KM buses will run. Passengers will be able to use them from 05:30 to 02:00 from July 17 to August 8.

180 large-capacity buses will run at intervals of less than a minute. They will follow with stops “Universitetsky Prospekt”, “Universitet”, “Prospekt Vernadsky” and “Yugo-Zapadnaya”.

Also, during the closure of the section of the red line, you can use alternative routes: the Kaluzhsko-Rizhskaya and Solntsevskaya metro lines or the Luzhniki station of the Moscow Central Ring.

More information can be obtained at Unified transport portal.

Train traffic on the Sportivnaya – Troparevo section of the Sokolnicheskaya metro line will be limited from July 17 to August 8 due to the construction of a transition to the future station of the same name on the Bolshaya Circle Line on Prospekt Vernadsky. For this, the power supply, communication and water supply lines will be disconnected.

The Big Circle Line is a key Moscow metro construction project. The total length of the ring is more than 70 kilometers, 31 stations will be located on it, 12 of them are already open to passengers.
