Comprehensive radio training took place with servicemen of the Baltic Fleet army corps.

In the course of practical actions, military signalmen checked the operation of switching equipment, special equipment, open, closed and satellite communication channels.

On the territory of the military units of the army corps, the communications subdivisions have fulfilled the standards for the deployment, operation and operational change of positions of modern hardware stations and communications complexes.

Also, in the battalion of the association’s control, signalmen worked out the tasks of organizing a stable and secure communication using protected satellite communication channels between control points and other subscribers in conditions of active jamming by means of electronic warfare of a simulated enemy.

To work out the standards, some divisions received introductory notes on the deployment of complexes in the field. After receiving the signals, the communications units moved to the designated areas, where they complied with the standards for organizing communications on short-wave and ultra-short-wave radio stations and providing video conferencing control points using modern equipment.

More than five hundred people were involved in the events, more than 80 pieces of equipment were involved, including modern P-240I complexes, the P-265 field mobile complex based on the Tiger armored car, R-441 satellite communication stations equipped with the GLONASS satellite navigation system, points communication control, antenna modules and command and staff vehicles, radio relay stations, antenna modules.
