In Orenburg, the third and final round of consultations on the organization, preparation and conduct of the joint military anti-terrorist command and staff exercise (SVAKSHU) “Peace Mission 2021” has started. The exercise will take place in September in the Orenburg region at the Donguz training ground.

Delegates from India, Kazakhstan, China, Kyrgyzstan, Pakistan, Russia, Tajikistan and Uzbekistan are taking part in the negotiations. The Russian military delegation is headed by Major General Nikolai Tereshchenko, Deputy Chief of Staff of the Central Military District (CVO). During the first stage, the parties discuss the redeployment of military equipment and units to the territory of Russia, the deployment and organization of the work of the operational staff at command posts, the organization of communications and control of units, the procedure for transferring Russian military equipment to the participants in the exercise.

Tomorrow, a reconnaissance of the area of ​​the upcoming exercise at the Donguz training ground will be carried out. Delegates from different countries will visit the station for unloading equipment, the airfield for the arrival of the SVAKSHU participants, the location of tent camps and military equipment.
