Servicemen of the deep reconnaissance company of the army corps of the Baltic Fleet began airborne training.

At one of the training grounds near the Baltic Sea, the scouts of a motorized rifle formation will work out separation from the aircraft, as well as actions in the event of emergency situations in the air at the airborne complex.

Initially, all scouts had to undergo an in-depth medical examination to obtain admission to jumping, then each serviceman, after a preparatory course in airborne training, would pass theoretical and practical standards and tests for packing the main and reserve parachutes.

During the course of intensive training, the scouts will perform training and combat jumps on landing parachutes from altitudes of 600 – 2000 m. Also, servicemen will perform jumps with full service weapons and equipment, with a in the air, aimed fire at a conventional enemy with landing on a limited area of ​​the airfield.

The airborne training, which will last 4 months, involved about 100 servicemen of the reconnaissance units of the army corps of the Baltic Fleet.
