Convicts serving their sentences in a colony-settlement are officially employed as auxiliary workers at two relevant enterprises in Biysk.

Interaction is carried out within the framework of contracts for the provision of labor between KP-2 and the city’s enterprises. Convicts are sent to work based on their education, skills and experience.

Currently, 30 convicts from the colony-settlement are engaged in the improvement of Biysk. They are engaged in cleaning the roadway, helping in the installation of small architectural forms, laying asphalt, and also perform other work.

Convicted persons receive a salary and have the opportunity to pay off claims to the victims and the state. At the same time, convicts bring significant benefits to the city.
