This is the first district of Moscow where all residents of the resettled houses received new apartments.
A renovation program has been completed in the Molzhaninovsky District of the Northern Administrative District of the capital. This is the first district where all the houses included in the program have been resettled. This was announced by the Minister of the Moscow Government, the head of the Moscow City Property Department Maxim Gaman.
“52 people from 16 families received new apartments offered by the Department of City Property. They moved to comfortable housing in three new buildings on Mitinskaya Street and Beskudnikovsky Boulevard. Thus, the renovation program in the Molzhaninovsky district has been completed, ”explained Maksim Gaman.
As part of the renovation program, two two-story houses on the Leningradskoye Highway were settled in the area: a former corridor-type hostel built in 1936 (house 248) and an apartment building built in 1960 (house 261, building 1). The buildings were recognized as emergency and subject to demolition.
Muscovites have moved to new apartments with improved finishes. Near new buildings there are kindergartens and schools, modern clinics, as well as sports facilities and shopping centers. Within walking distance there are metro stations “Mitino” and “Verkhniye Likhobory”.
In total, in the north of the capital, 4378 people living in Zapadny Degunin, as well as in the Beskudnikovsky, Dmitrovsky, Molzhaninovsky, Voikovsky and Timiryazevsky districts of the capital, concluded contracts for equivalent housing.
In the Northern Administrative District of Moscow, the renovation program includes 514 houses with a total living area of more than 1.7 million square meters. They are home to about 109 thousand people. For the wave resettlement of residents in the district, 65 launch sites with a capacity of 904.3 thousand square meters were selected.
“Now on the territory of the district there are 42 objects at the design and construction stage, 18 houses have been handed over for settlement,” said the head Department of urban planning policy of the city of Moscow Sergey Levkin.
The renovation program was approved in the capital in 2017, with about a million Muscovites participating. For the implementation of the program, 513 launch sites were selected. It is expected that by the end of the year in new houses about 30 thousand people will begin to move.
