A renovation program has been completed in the Molzhaninovsky District of the Northern Administrative District of the capital. This is the first district where all the houses included in the program have been resettled. This was announced by the Minister of the Moscow Government, the head of the Moscow City Property Department Maxim Gaman.

“52 people from 16 families received new apartments offered by the Department of City Property. As part of the renovation program, two two-story houses on the Leningradskoye Highway were settled in the area: a former corridor-type hostel built in 1936 (house 248) and an apartment building built in 1960 (house 261, building 1). The buildings were recognized as emergency and subject to demolition.

Muscovites have moved to new apartments with improved finishes. Near new buildings there are kindergartens and schools, modern clinics, as well as sports facilities and shopping centers. Within walking distance there are metro stations “Mitino” and “Verkhniye Likhobory”.

In total, in the north of the capital, 4378 people living in Zapadny Degunin, as well as in the Beskudnikovsky, Dmitrovsky, Molzhaninovsky, Voikovsky and Timiryazevsky districts of the capital, concluded contracts for equivalent housing.
