The minesweepers of the formation of ships protecting the water area of ​​the Caspian Flotilla (CFL) have worked out actions for anti-mine support and neutralization of mine danger.

The training activities took place in offshore training grounds located in the Caspian Sea.

The crews of minesweepers performed a set of tasks to ensure the deployment of a detachment of surface ships KFL in marching and battle formation when leaving the basing point and at sea crossing, as well as in conditions of the use of a conventional enemy of mine weapons.

While going to sea, the personnel of the ships successfully completed the tasks of setting contact and non-contact trawls. In addition, at the sea ranges, the sailors conducted a training session on escorting small artillery ships Astrakhan, Volgodonsk and Makhachkala behind trawls, worked out tasks when crossing a minefield with the implementation of a set of measures to destroy floating, bottom and anchor mines with the conditional use of cord charges. During the search and trawling in a given square, the crews of the ships successfully found and destroyed all training mines.

More than 200 servicemen took part in the exercise, about 10 KFl ships were involved, including the base minesweeper “Magomed Gadzhiev” and road minesweepers RT-234, RT-233, RT 71.
