In the floodplain of the Chermyanka River, 10 playgrounds will be equipped this year, according to the capital’s urban complex. They will appear on the territory of the future Yauza park.
Playgrounds for children of different ages will be built on sections from Mussorgsky Street to Dezhnev Passage, as well as along Yurlovsky Passage – from Dezhnev Passage to Molodtsov Street.
They will be equipped with slides, bungees, spring rockers and a climbing wall, swings and carousels for children with musculoskeletal disorders. The gaming complexes will be made from environmentally friendly tree species – oak and mountain larch. This wood is resistant to any changes in weather and withstands high loads.
In the north-east of the capital, a single green zone with a length of more than 16 kilometers is being created – from the Moscow Ring Road to the Rostokinsky aqueduct with exits to the Losiny Ostrov park and VDNKh. The work is being carried out within the framework of the Yauza park creation project.
It is designed with the wishes of local residents in mind. Yauza will become the longest eco-park in Europe.
