Free KM buses will be available. For their unimpeded operation, temporary dedicated lanes will appear in the city.
From July 17 to August 8, the Sportivnaya – Troparevo section of the Sokolnicheskaya metro line will be closed. Passengers will be able to take advantage of alternative routes.
You can drive along the Kaluzhsko-Rizhskaya and Solntsevskaya lines or from the Luzhniki station of the Moscow Central Ring (MCC). You can get to the stations using regular routes – buses will run more often.
In addition, free KM buses are organized for passengers. For this, they will organize temporary dedicated lanes… Travel on them will be allowed only for urban public transport. The restriction will also affect the already existing lanes on Khamovnichesky Val Street, Luzhnetsky Metro Bridge, Vernadsky Avenue, and also partially on Leninsky and Komsomolsky Avenues.
180 large-capacity buses will run at intervals of less than a minute. They will proceed with the stops “Universitetsky Prospekt”, “Universitet”, “Prospekt Vernadsky” and “Yugo-Zapadnaya”. Take advantage of they will be available from 05:30 to 02:00.
For the smooth operation of public transport, exits from the Luzhnetsky metro bridge to the inner side of the Third Transport Ring and to the side passage of Komsomolsky Prospekt, from Komsomolsky Prospect to the side passage and a U-turn under the Luzhnetsky metro bridge, as well as from Leninsky Prospekt to Ostrovityanova Street and Teplostansky Proezd will be temporarily blocked.
Drivers will also not be able to access the section of the Vernadsky Avenue backup from Lomonosovsky Avenue to Stroiteley Avenue, the Vernadsky Avenue backup from Stroiteley Street to Lomonosovsky Avenue, and several exits to Vernadsky Avenue.
Movement pattern will also change in some sections of Khamovnichesky Val, Troparevskaya, Ostrovityanova, Akademik Bakulev, Akademik Anokhin and 26 Baku Komissarov streets.
The section “Sportivnaya” – “Troparevo” was closed due to the construction of a transition on Prospekt Vernadsky to the future station of the same name on the Big Circle Line. For this, the power supply, communication and water supply lines were temporarily disconnected there.
The Big Circle Line is a key Moscow metro construction project. The total length of the ring is more than 70 kilometers, 31 stations will be located on it, 12 of them are already open to passengers.
