The first 50 patients who have recovered from COVID-19 are preparing for discharge from the repurposed medical institutions of the Republic of Khakassia, where military doctors of the Central Military District (CVD) work together with civilian specialists.

As a result of the interaction of military specialists and doctors of the Ministry of Health of the Republic of Khakassia, in a short period of time, a unified approach was developed in the treatment of coronavirus infection in patients admitted to specialized medical institutions.

In total, in the hospitals of the Republic of Khakassia, where specialists from the combined medical unit of the Central Military District work, more than 300 patients are currently being treated. Military specialists monitor the health status of patients around the clock, which makes it possible to promptly adjust treatment, provide timely assistance and discharge those who have been cured.

Earlier it was reported that the medical team was sent to Khakassia in accordance with the decision of the Minister of Defense of the Russian Federation, General of the Army Sergei Shoigu, and the instructions of the commander of the Central Military District, Colonel-General Alexander Lapin.

Previously, these military doctors of the Central Military District took part in the treatment of patients in mobile hospitals deployed in the village of Eruda in the Krasnoyarsk Territory and the city of Chernogorsk in the Republic of Khakassia.
