The Russian electronic warfare (EW) servicemen of the 201st military base used electronic ambushes and blocking of enemy control frequencies during a command post exercise (CCH) in Tajikistan.

In the drawing of practical actions, the crews of the electronic warfare systems carried out reconnaissance and identification of the enemy’s radio-electronic means, organizing electronic ambushes on them. The station operators carried out selective suppression of the identified control channels of the “enemy”, in fact, squeezing it out of interference-free frequencies with targeted and obstructive electronic strikes. The exercise of electronic warfare specialists is held jointly with reconnaissance and air defense units, where they worked out the tasks of joint cover of objects from air radar reconnaissance and air strikes of a simulated enemy. To carry out training tasks, the systems of electronic warfare and electronic intelligence “Infauna”, “Silok”, “Leer-3”, the automated jamming station R-934 BMW were used.
