In the health and education sectors, nearly 70 percent of employees were vaccinated. The same number of civil servants have taken root.

About four million people have already been vaccinated in Moscow. Two million of them were vaccinated in the last month. These results were achieved thanks to the responsible attitude towards vaccination of residents and businesses. About it Sergei Sobyanintold in an interview to the TV channel “Russia 1”.

“In many enterprises, for example, in the spheres of health care, education, the vaccination rate is approaching 70 percent. It is clear that this did not cause any delight, it is clear that this is all complicated, but it is not even about health, but about people’s lives, ”said the Moscow Mayor.

He also stressed that the existing vaccines are quite effective against the new delta strain.

In recent weeks, the situation with the spread of coronavirus has been stabilized. “Although the situation is still quite difficult, we see that week by week the number of new cases is getting smaller and smaller, the number of hospitalizations is smaller and smaller,” Sergei Sobyanin said.

This was achieved thanks to the restrictive measures that were introduced in the city, mass vaccinations, as well as strict compliance with sanitary requirements.

“The most important thing is that Muscovites have become very responsible for compliance with sanitary protection measures. People understand what is happening in the city and react appropriately, ”the Moscow Mayor added.

From July 19 in the capital cancel obligatory QR codes for visiting restaurants and cafes. The improvement of the epidemiological situation made it possible to make such a decision. So, the number of COVID-19 cases detected daily has almost halved and the number of hospitalizations has decreased by a third. With the preservation of the necessary sanitary requirements, food courts will resume work on Monday, and restaurants and cafes will be able to serve visitors at night (from 23:00 to 06:00). In addition, children’s playrooms, nightclubs and bars can be opened. Citizens will still be able to issue a QR code, and catering establishments will make decisions on their own whether to check the QR codes of visitors or not.

Now in Moscow, you can get vaccinated against COVID-19 at 119 vaccination points based on city polyclinics by appointment. In addition, you can get vaccinated without an appointment in the Healthy Moscow pavilions, shopping malls, My Documents public service centers and other public places where mobile teams work.
