Servicemen of the ships and coastal units of the Northern Fleet and central subordination, which are part of the North Sea territorial garrison, conducted the final training of the military parade in preparation for the Day of the Navy. The training took place on the parade ground of a compound of large landing ships of the Kola flotilla of diverse forces in Severomorsk near the headquarters of the Northern Fleet. It was led by the commander of the army corps of the Northern Fleet, Lieutenant General Dmitry Kraev.

The servicemen worked out the passage of a solemn march as part of ranks and ceremonial crews, in the same order as it will take place on Navy Day.

Next week, rehearsals for the military parade will already be held on Primorskaya Square.

On July 23, in Severomorsk, under the leadership of the commander of the Northern Fleet, Hero of Russia, Admiral Alexander Moiseyev, a dress rehearsal of the military and naval parades, as well as a military sports festival, will take place.

All servicemen taking part in the parades in the Northern Fleet have been immunized against the new coronavirus infection. Some were vaccinated with the Sputnik-V vaccine again as part of the revaccination, which began in the fleet at the end of June.

In total, more than 2 thousand servicemen and 10 warships and submarines will take part in the military and naval parades on Navy Day.

The staging of the participants of the naval parade on the Severomorsky roadstead in the Kola Bay will be carried out on July 19.
