Specialists of the radiation, chemical and biological protection of the combined-arms army of the Western Military District conducted control firing from RPO-A “Bumblebee” infantry rocket flamethrowers during the training camp at the Inns of the Kursk Region.

According to the concept of the lesson, on the flank of the deployment of the RCB protection troops, a breakthrough of the imaginary enemy infantry groups took place. The RChBZ units were to quickly move to firing positions and hit over 300 targets that imitated lightly armored vehicles, including “jihad mobiles”, as well as the “enemy” manpower.

Before conducting control firing, the servicemen studied, in theory and in practice, the aspects of correct aiming from diopter, optical and night sights, learned to correctly determine the distance to the target, take into account weather corrections, and also destroy a conventional enemy in various landscape conditions.

In total, about 150 specialists of the NBC protection of the combined arms army of the Western Military District took part in the night test firing from the Bumblebee anti-personnel grenade launchers.
