A parade of ships of the Caspian Flotilla, a military sports festival and a festive fireworks in commemoration of the Day of the Russian Navy will be held on July 25 on the roadstead of the city of Caspian in the Republic of Dagestan, near the new base of the naval association of the Southern Military District (YuVO).

Due to the restrictions caused by the unfavorable epidemiological situation in the republic, traditional festive events with the participation of the creative teams of the Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation and the Republic of Dagestan will take place on the territory of the military town where the units of the flotilla are stationed.

In order to limit the spread of coronavirus infection during the preparation and holding of the Day of the Russian Navy, the organizers of the festive events provide for a number of preventive measures and barrier restrictions. First of all, this will affect the order of access of city residents to the city embankment, which will be organized through special checkpoints equipped with thermometry and QR-code reading devices. Also, representatives of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia and Rosprirodnadzor will organize the verification of forms with negative PCR tests, vaccination certificates and the availability of personal medical equipment – masks and gloves. In addition, the territory of the city embankment of Kaspiysk will be divided into sectors, which will prevent a mass gathering of people and maintain a social distance among the audience. On the eve of the holiday, the divisions of radiation, chemical and biological protection will treat all places where spectators are located with special disinfecting solutions.

At the same time, all participants in the naval parade were vaccinated against coronavirus infection in advance.
