The competition commission of the Southern Military District (YuVO) has summed up the results of the district stage of the All-Russian Press Festival “Southern Media-AS – 2021”.
To participate in the competition, more than 50 applications were accepted for consideration from representatives of the media and bloggers who took an active part in information coverage of the activities of the Southern Military District, organizations and institutions of the Ministry of Defense in the area of responsibility of the military district, as well as public patriotic organizations interacting with the Armed Forces Russian Federation.
The submitted works were considered in 9 nominations of the competition.
The victory in the nomination “Best Personnel” (for the best news report) was awarded by the jury to Victoria Kosoglyadenko, a correspondent of the “Zvezda” TV channel in Sevastopol.
The main prize in the “Command Voice” nomination (for the best radio program) was awarded to the author of the radio program “Ricochet” Sergei Tyutyunnik and his co-host, deputy chief editor of the Rostov branch of radio “Komsomolskaya Pravda” Vladimir Dobritsky.
Natalya Shamova, a correspondent of the Kurganinskiye Izvestia newspaper, was named the winner in the Power of the Word nomination (for the best material in the print media).
The Volga newspaper correspondent Lyudmila Kochina was named the winner in the Life Style nomination (for the best material in periodicals designed for a narrow readership).
The winner in the Special Forces Project nomination (for the best comprehensive information project) is the creative team of the Volgogradskaya Pravda Publishing House, which has submitted a military-historical supplement “Stalingradskaya Pravda” to the competition.
First place in the “Lightning” nomination (for the best work in a news agency) was awarded to Karina Sapunova, her own correspondent of the TASS news agency in the city of Sevastopol.
In the nomination “Main Caliber” (for the best photographic work), the winner was the photographer of the Black Sea Fleet Museum Sergey Petrosyan from the city of Sevastopol.
The first place in the nomination “On the Edge of the Attack” (for the best material in the regional media) was awarded to the correspondent of the State Television and Radio Broadcasting Company “Tavrida” Mikhail Andronik.
The winner in the Breakthrough nomination (for the best debut of the year) was Nikita Timashkov, the host of the information and analytical program “Cadet Bulletin”, cadet of the Don Emperor Alexander III of the Cossack Cadet Corps from the city of Novocherkassk.
This year, journalists from Rostov, Volgograd and Astrakhan regions, Krasnodar and Stavropol territories, Dagestan, North Ossetia, South Ossetia, Abkhazia, Karachay-Cherkessia, Kabardino-Balkaria, Crimea and Sevastopol took part in the competition.
The ceremony of awarding the winners of the competition will take place in Sevastopol within the framework of the Military-Technical Forum of the Southern Military District “Army-2021”.
