The Russian Defense Ministry launched the first AR mask in social networks. The theme of the mask is dedicated to the 7th All-Russian Press Festival “Media-AS”.

AR-mask is designed to popularize the All-Russian Press Festival “Media-AS” in social networks among the Internet community and bloggers, as well as to draw public attention to military topics in the media space. Any interested user of a social network can try on an AR-mask with the Media-AS logo.

The festival is held by the Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation to encourage the media, military experts, representatives of the media professions who cover military topics and make a significant contribution to maintaining a positive image of the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation.

In 2021, the winners of the Festival will be awarded in nine nominations: “BEST STAFF” – for the best news report, “TEAM VOICE” – for the best radio program, “POWER OF A WORD” – for the best material in print media, “LIFESTYLE” – for the best material in periodicals designed for a narrow readership, “SPECIAL PURPOSE PROJECT” – for the best complex information and entertainment project (show, series of programs, etc.), “LIGHTNING” – for the best work in a news agency, “GLAVNY KALIBR” – for the best photographic work, “AT THE RISE OF ATTACK” – for the best material in the regional (local) mass media, “PRORIV” – the best debut of the year.
