Yunarmeytsy Crimea participated in a yachting trip from Evpatoria. The Yunarmeyskaya Mile is the name of a week-long trip that traditionally takes place during the summer holidays. One on one with the sea elements, the guys went on cruising yachts Konrad-25. There are eight of them – each accommodates 5-6 crew members.

The length of the “Yunarmeyskaya mile” is 500 miles. The final point of the route is Kerch. On the way, the yachts called at Sevastopol, Yalta and Feodosia. In these cities, UNARMIA activists went ashore to lay flowers at the monuments and memorials to the fallen front-line soldiers. The yacht cruise was timed to coincide with the 76th anniversary of the Victory in the Great Patriotic War. The members of the expedition did not forget about the victims of the biggest disaster that happened on November 7, 1941. At the site of the sinking of the “Armenia” motor ship, the Yunarmeys held a rally and lowered wreaths.

The yachting trip this year was timed to coincide with the opening of a maritime school in the city of Evpatoria, where classes will begin in full swing in September.
In the fall, the Crimean Yunarmeys intend to repeat the expedition and recount the “Yunarmeyskaya Mile” again.

Recall that the All-Russian youth military-patriotic movement “UNARMIA” was created in 2016 at the initiative of the Ministry of Defense and with the support of the President of Russia. Now in its ranks there are more than 800 thousand participants – the most daring, the most courageous, the most initiative guys. The main task of the movement is patriotic education, as well as the physical, intellectual and social development of young people.
