In the motorized rifle division of the 58th Combined Arms Army of the Southern Military District (YuVO) in North Ossetia, a solemn adoption of the Military Oath took place by a young replenishment.

About 200 young military personnel who were drafted into the ranks of the Armed Forces as part of the spring 2021 draft from various constituent entities of the Russian Federation were sworn in. The servicemen undertook obligations to fulfill their military duty with dignity, courageously defend freedom, independence and the constitutional order of Russia, the people and the Fatherland.

Before taking the Military Oath in the classroom, the personnel received skills in drill, physical, fire, military medical training. In addition, the servicemen studied general military regulations and the basics of military service security.

In combat training classes, servicemen will soon have to undergo intensive courses in single and comprehensive practical and theoretical study of standard weapons, modern military and special equipment.

All comers were vaccinated against COVID-19 upon arrival at the duty station. For these purposes, more than 20 thousand doses of the vaccine against the new coronavirus infection have been reserved in the medical institutions of the Southern Military District for the military personnel of the spring conscription.

At the moment, 90% of the young recruits in the North Caucasus and Transcaucasia (South Ossetia) have been vaccinated against COVID-19. Personnel who have previously been ill and do not have antibodies to coronavirus infection are also involved in immunization.
