Children aged five to 10 will demonstrate their skills in 26 competencies. They will compete in two age categories: five – seven and eight – ten years old. In addition, for the first time, you can participate in the championship with your family. For example, for schoolchildren 10-14 years old, the organizers are launching a new project FamilySkills. By completing tasks in a team, children and adults will be able to help each other improve their professional skills and learn something new. Parents and children will be able to prove themselves in graphic design, pastry and cooking, hairdressing and fashion technology.

According to the director of the Moscow Center for the Development of Vocational Education Sergey Kukolev, KidSkills is a full-fledged professional skill championship. He is already familiar to many even outside Moscow. Last year, almost 10 thousand people took part in it.

“The uniqueness of the championship lies not only in the number of participants, but also in the format. We not only accept applications for participation, but also provide a lot of preparatory work for all participants, mentors and experts, increase their level of professionalism and involvement in professional activities, accompany them until the championship itself, organize special training webinars, talk about professional areas and help in this way to make the first step towards a conscious choice of profession, ”stressed Sergei Kukolev.
