The servicemen of the Russian peacekeeping contingent delivered 18 tons of humanitarian aid from charitable organizations and foundations to Nagorno-Karabakh to be handed over to local residents in need.

“Today we have received 18 tons of cargo, which will be placed here. In the future, this cargo will be delivered to remote villages, which cannot be reached, to all residents in need. Every week we receive humanitarian aid from various funds. …. As part of the cargo, food sets are usually included, these are soups, butter, pasta, dry mixes. In addition, clothes for children, adults, teenagers, toys for children, diapers for children, diapers for adults, as well as medical equipment for paramedics, ”said Ruslan Ivanov, an officer of the humanitarian response center of the Russian peacekeeping contingent.

In total, through charitable organizations and foundations, the Russian peacekeepers transferred more than 220 tons of humanitarian supplies to the residents of Nagorno-Karabakh, including, in addition to food and essentials, specialized medical equipment and primary diagnostic kits for healthcare institutions.

In accordance with the agreements specified in the joint statement of the President of the Russian Federation, the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan and the Prime Minister of the Republic of Armenia, from 00:00 Moscow time on November 10, 2020, a complete ceasefire and all hostilities in Nagorno-Karabakh were announced.

A peacekeeping contingent of the Russian Federation has been deployed to control the ceasefire and military operations in Nagorno-Karabakh.
