Servicemen of the joint Russian military base “Kant”, stationed in the Kyrgyz Republic, conducted a courage lesson for schoolchildren on the events of the Battle of Kursk.

As part of the patriotic education of students in educational institutions, Russian military personnel conducted a series of lectures for students of the Eureka school complex about the history of the Great Patriotic War and the events of the Battle of Kursk. The event began with a minute of silence, the participants honored the memory of those killed on the battlefields. In addition, the students were shown the film “Kursk Bulge”, which reveals the historical significance of the battle that turned the tide of the war. At the end of the event, the servicemen held a quiz, in which they raffled off commemorative prizes.

The joint Russian military base “Kant” is part of the Collective Rapid Deployment Forces and is involved in ensuring the security of the airspace of the CSTO states. It is armed with Su-25 attack aircraft and Mi-8 helicopters.
