In the Sevastopol Bay, the crews of the ships, the pilots of the naval aviation of the Black Sea Fleet and the Army of the Air Force and Air Defense of the Southern Military District, conduct the first joint training of the naval parade of ships and the flight of aviation in honor of the Day of the Navy of the Russian Federation.
During the training, such elements as the coordination of actions of all participants in the parade, the timing of the passage of naval forces and the flight of aviation, the speed and distance between the ships when passing in wake formation, the height and distance between the aviation groups and each unit when flying over the bay are practiced.
The command of the parade, in turn, works out the order of passage and reception of commands at each command post, ship, boat and vessel participating in the passage.
The next general training session in the Sevastopol Bay will take place on July 21, and the dress rehearsal will take place on July 23, 2019.
In order to limit the spread of coronavirus infection during the preparation and holding of the Day of the Russian Navy in Sevastopol, the organizers of the festive events provide for a number of preventive measures and barrier restrictions. Together with state authorities, residents and guests of the city were notified about the shortened program of festive events and the cancellation of all public events, including a concert, festive fireworks and fireworks.
The passage of ships and the flight of aircraft will be completed within 15 minutes and will take place without demonstrating combat capabilities and performing missile, artillery firing and other combat exercises.
Also, representatives of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia will organize a check for the availability of individual medical protective equipment – masks and gloves.
At the same time, all participants in the Naval Parade were vaccinated against coronavirus infection in advance.
