The project of the first stage of the improvement of the territory at the transport interchange hub (TPU) “Lyublino” has been approved, the chairman said Moskomexpertiza Valery Leonov.

“The project will include the creation of two public transport stops on Sovkhoznaya Street with access pockets, landing sites and waiting pavilions, as well as the creation of a parking lot, reconstruction and construction of utilities, landscaping and landscaping of the territory,” the head of the department explained.

In addition, specialists will make markings, install road signs and fences, and repair traffic lights.

For the convenience of people with limited mobility, wide sidewalks will be equipped, lowered side stones will be installed at pedestrian crossings, ground tactile signs will be laid, lighting poles and road signs will be pasted over with reflective film.

Trees and shrubs will be planted around TPU, a lawn will be laid on an area of ​​more than 2.5 thousand square meters.

The work is planned to be completed in two months.

In the near future, it is planned to create 98 transport hubs. Among them both small objects, where you can change trains between two modes of transport, and large ones, which, in addition to metro, rail and surface urban transport, include parking and other infrastructure.
