In the Obruchevsky district, 17 residential buildings will have to be relocated and demolished, in which more than 3.5 thousand people live.

By the end of 2021, 80 families living in a five-story building at 24 Garibaldi Street, Building 1, will receive an offer for new apartments. Citizens will be able to move to a new building on Garibaldi Street (house 18). It has already been commissioned.

“The house on Garibaldi Street was built according to an individual project, for the facade we used porcelain stoneware tiles of different colors. The first floor is non-residential, there is a hall, a concierge room, a stroller. All apartments have improved finishing; new settlers do not need to make additional repairs in them, “said the head of the Moscow City Planning Policy Department.

The area near the house is landscaped, now they are equipping a playground and sports grounds. According to the head of the department, the modern residential building, apartments and landscaping meet the high standard of the renovation program.

“In total, in the Obruchevsky district, under the renovation program, 17 residential buildings will be relocated and demolished, in which more than 3.5 thousand citizens live,” added Sergei Levkin.

The first two thousand residents will begin resettlement no later than 2024 as part of the first phase of the program.

The renovation program was approved in 2017. Residents of 5175 houses – about a million people – will receive comfortable apartments in new buildings. 513 launch sites were selected for their construction.
