During the spring 2021 year of the conscription of citizens for military service, which ended on July 15 of this year, more than 6,000 servicemen of the newly arrived replenishment from 69 regions of the Russian Federation were replenished in the formations and military units of the Airborne Forces.
More than 1,300 recruits will undergo training at the 242 training center (training of junior specialists of the Airborne Forces) in Omsk, after which they will receive certificates in the specialties “gunner-operator BMD-2, BMD-4M, BMP-2”, “mechanic-driver BMD-2, BMD-4M, BMP-2 “, as well as communications specialists, artillery and other military specialties that are required in the Airborne Forces.
Some of the conscripts were trained at the Central Base of Airborne Equipment and Property in Kolomna, Moscow Region, after graduation from which the recruits were sent to the troops as specialists in the repair and maintenance of parachute devices and parachute systems.
Of the entire conscript contingent sent by military commissariats for military service on conscription to the Airborne Forces, more than 500 conscripts were trained in DOSAAF of Russia in the specialty “vehicle driver” with category “C”, also more than 250 drivers of category “C” were trained in other educational institutions, and about 100 conscripts were trained in other specialties required by the troops.
In order to ensure safe conditions for draft measures, military commissariats of the constituent entities of the Russian Federation were provided with personal protective equipment and non-contact thermometers. The necessary stock of disinfectants and rapid tests was created to determine the presence of COVID-2019.
For recruits in military units, a daily three-time thermometry was organized for 14 days. These days, the personnel underwent an in-depth medical commission and psychological examination.
In connection with the current epidemic situation, all the necessary preventive measures and vaccination against COVID-19 were carried out without fail.
