The solution will help improve the quality and availability of high-tech medical care for expectant mothers, reduce the incidence of postoperative complications and recurrence of malignant neoplasms. Operations by the Da Vinci robot are carried out with high precision, with minimal trauma to healthy tissues and minimal blood loss. Thanks to this, the risks after surgical interventions are reduced and the rehabilitation period is shortened.

“And this high-tech help will be available to even more women, because the Kulakov Center accepts patients from all over the country,” Mikhail Mishustin said at a meeting with the Deputy Prime Ministers on July 19.

The head of government added that the decision was made during a visit to this center on June 1 – Children’s Day. On that day, Mikhail Mishustin also held a meeting on improving medical care for children. It was attended by the heads of perinatal centers and children’s hospitals, leading neonatologists, pediatricians and obstetricians-gynecologists. Following the meeting, instructions were given, including to expand the neonatal screening program for hereditary and congenital diseases and to equip medical organizations with the necessary equipment.
