The decision was made following the results of Mikhail Mishustin’s working trip to this region.

Order dated July 15, 2021 No. 1950-r

The Ulyanovsk region will receive more than 77.2 million rubles for the purchase of additional medical equipment for the City Polyclinic No. 1 named after S.M. Kirov. The money will arrive in 2021. This order was signed by Prime Minister Mikhail Mishustin.

With the help of federal funding, the institution will receive a set of equipment for conducting in-depth clinical examination of patients who have had coronavirus infection. This is a computer tomograph, an expert-class ultrasound machine, spirometers for assessing the function of external respiration, modern devices for the study of blood tests, as well as an automatic coagulometer, which is necessary to detect signs of thrombus formation (to determine the concentration of D-dimer in the blood).

The new equipment will expand the range of diagnostic tests, help doctors detect diseases at an early stage and immediately prescribe the necessary treatment.

Mikhail Mishustin visited the Kirov City Polyclinic in June 2021 during working trip to the Ulyanovsk region… The head physician of this institution told the Prime Minister about the lack of equipment for an in-depth medical examination of the population. The head of the Cabinet promised to help. After returning to Moscow he instructed The Ministry of Health, the Ministry of Finance and the Ministry of Economic Development, together with the government of the Ulyanovsk region, should submit a draft order of the Government on the allocation of funds from the reserve fund for these purposes.
