To ensure continuous work on the reconstruction of the Baikal-Amur Mainline (BAM), continuous air communication was organized between the construction sites located in the areas from the village of Ulak to the city of Fevralsk in the Amur Region.

Air transportation is carried out using modern helicopters of the Aerospace Forces (VKS) of the Russian Federation MI-8AMTSh and MI-26. Departure of aircraft is carried out from airfields and helipads located in the settlements of Ukrainka and Ogoron, Amur region. The length of the route is about 350 kilometers

Well-established air traffic is carried out with the aim of the speediest delivery of equipment and important cargo to construction sites, medical workers, military personnel and management personnel who are performing the task of reconstructing the BAM.

At the construction site near the village of Ogoron, from where the flights are carried out, all the necessary aviation infrastructure is equipped to ensure safe flights to any section of the BAM reconstruction.
