The work is planned to be completed this year.
In the floodplain of the Chermyanka River, the construction of an eco-center has begun. The specialists have already made the foundation, and now they are assembling the metal frame and erecting the walls. This was reported in the capital’s urban complex.
At the next stage, it is necessary to install partitions, lay a roof, carry out facade work and interior decoration, and then carry out internal engineering communications.
During the construction and design of the pavilion, natural materials, primarily wood, are used. Thanks to the partial stained glass glazing, there will be plenty of natural light inside the Ecocenter. It is planned to build a vertical farm, a pharmaceutical garden and a sensory garden nearby. The work will be completed this year.
The area of the eco-center will be over 1.2 thousand square meters. Inside, interactive exhibition halls, a cinema and a professional laboratory will be equipped, here visitors will be able to get acquainted with the ecological professions of the future. The Ecocenter will become part of the Yauza Park.
In 2016–2020, five sections of the park with a total area of 135 hectares have already been put in order. This year, two more sections are being improved – from Mussorgsky Street to Dezhnev Passage and from Dezhnev Passage to Molodtsov Street. “Yauza” will become one of the largest eco-parks in Europe, a single green zone will stretch for 16 kilometers from the Moscow Ring Road to the Rostokinsky aqueduct.
