The calculations of the coastal anti-ship missile systems (BKRK) “Ball” and “Bastion” from the missile and artillery formations of the Black Sea Fleet (Black Sea Fleet) conducted an exercise to detect and destroy a landing detachment of imaginary enemy ships in the Black Sea.

As part of the exercise, the Bal and Bastion units of the BKRK, deployed on the territory of the Caucasian coast, marched and occupied positional areas to monitor the surface situation.

During the exercise, combat crews found and escorted a detachment of amphibious assault ships, which, according to reconnaissance data, was preparing to land amphibious assault forces in two directions: on the coast of the Crimean Peninsula and the Caucasian coast.

Large amphibious ships of the Black Sea Fleet were involved in the role of a detachment of imaginary enemy ships.

On a command from the control room, the combat crews of the Bal and Bastion ballistic missile systems brought the complexes into battle and worked out the algorithm of actions for delivering missile strikes against sea targets.

The targets were conditionally destroyed on the approaches to the landing in two directions. Rocket firing was carried out electronically.

In addition to combat training missions, servicemen have worked out more than 20 different standards, including for the withdrawal of complexes from the enemy strike, for changing, equipping and masking both new and false starting positions, as well as for replenishing ammunition.

The exercise was conducted in accordance with the combat training plan of the Black Sea Fleet. In total, more than 40 units of military and special equipment were involved.
