During the training for the Main Naval Parade, the crews of the tugboats of the Leningrad naval base practiced maneuvers on the water to safely tow warships in the water area of ​​the Neva River and the Gulf of Finland.

For the withdrawal of the ships to the established places and their alignment in the parade line, sea tugs of the A-202 projects of the “Strong” type, the project 563 of the “Kazbek” type and the modern domestic project 745 tug of the “Sadko” type were used.

The crews of the sea tugs completed the tasks assigned to them to safely maneuver between ships, move them and place them in a parade line, as well as improve the skills of mooring to the berths. The skills of the crews’ actions in case of emergency situations on the water have been worked out.

On all ships, vessels and berthing areas, preventive measures are taken on an ongoing basis to exclude the drift and spread of infectious diseases, including a new coronavirus infection. The access control is organized with carrying out thermometry of the body, daily disinfection and sanitization of all rooms, objects and the surrounding area is carried out.

The personnel of the supply vessels of the Baltic Fleet were vaccinated in advance with two components of the Gam-Kovid-Vak preparation and were fully provided with personal protective equipment.
