In Samara, at the Kryazh military airfield of the Central Military District (CVO), the parachuting championship of the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation will be held for the first time. More than 100 military athletes will take part in the competition, consisting of 7 teams representing military districts, branches and types of troops of the RF Armed Forces, as well as CSKA and DOSAAF. About half of the participants are parachutists.

Military personnel will compete in two disciplines: landing precision and acrobatics. In the first, parachute jumps will be performed from a height of 1 thousand meters.When landing, the athlete must show a minimum deviation from the zero mark with a diameter of 2 cm.In the second, jumps will be performed from a height of 2.2 thousand meters, during which the personnel will perform a certain complex of figures. A total of 48 sets of awards will be played in individual and team competitions.

The competition will be held from 24 to 30 July at the Kryazh military airfield. They will use Mi-8 helicopters of the Central Sports Club of the Army of the Ministry of Defense.
