The crews of the battalions of the anti-ship coastal missile systems (DBK) “Ball” of the coastal missile formation of the Pacific Fleet in Kamchatka have worked out the tasks of striking the ships of the airborne detachment of the imaginary enemy. The event was held in accordance with the fleet combat training plan.

Subdivisions in columns made a march across rough terrain from their permanent deployment sites to designated positional areas, where they worked out the standards for alerting launchers and organizing camouflage of machines. Trainings were conducted to organize protection from attacks by “enemy” sabotage and reconnaissance groups.

In the course of practical actions, the mobile ball launchers worked out the algorithm for obtaining target designation and striking an amphibious detachment of imaginary enemy ships with the implementation of training (electronic) missile launches. After completing the exercises, the DBK Bal crews quickly changed their position in order to avoid return fire.

More than 100 servicemen and about 20 units of automobile and special equipment of the formation were involved in working out the tasks of tactical exercises.
