Sergei Sobyanin examined the first house transferred for occupancy by renovation programnear Solntsevo. The new building is located at Shchorsa Street, 15.

“Renovation has come to Solntsevo. The first house was built under the renovation program. I hope that the residents of most of the houses will move quickly enough due to the fact that many launch sites have been identified. But construction will also be carried out on the site of the houses to be settled, ”the Moscow Mayor said.

According to Aleksey Dobashin, the general director of the Krost concern, the building was built taking into account the wishes of those who move here. “Almost 90 percent have already agreed to move, this speaks of the quality of construction,” he said.

Sergei Sobyanin talked to the families who will move to a new house and handed them the keys to their apartments.

In Solntsevo, 43 houses were included in the renovation program. Five launch sites have been identified in the area with a total capacity of 159.2 thousand square meters of housing. He also spoke about his readiness to start building a tennis academy on the site next to the ice palace. To do this, it is necessary to coordinate a number of property and land issues with the city. Sergei Sobyanin instructed the investor to consider this proposal.

“In general, now a lot of playgrounds have been allocated for sports facilities. By and large, if earlier it was very difficult to get out of the bidding – they extended the terms of their holding three or four times, but now almost all plots are leaving at once, – the Mayor of Moscow emphasized. “There are practically no sites that would remain unclaimed by investors, despite the pandemic, despite the economic difficulties, there is still interest in such facilities.”

The new ice palace will host competitions and trainings for students of city sports schools. Anyone can also visit the new sports complex: they will be able to rent a hall or a skating rink for personal use, for example, for individual classes or for a holiday.

The Solntsevo ice arena will become a new point of attraction for sports fans – residents of the region of the same name and the western part of the city.
