Now specialists are developing a restoration project.

In Moscow, by order of the capital Department of Cultural Heritagewill restore the grave of actor, director, People’s Artist of the USSR Yuri Zavadsky. The burial is located at the Vagankovskoye cemetery at the address: Sergei Makeev Street, 15 and has the status of an identified cultural heritage site. The works are scheduled for 2022-2023.

Specialists will put in order all the surfaces of the monument, eliminate visible defects. The exact list of works will be determined later.

To develop scientific and project documentation, experts will conduct historical, archival and bibliographic research, study the engineering and technical features of the facility, and describe future architectural and design solutions.

In recent years in the capital already restored the family necropolises of the Morozovs at the Rogozhskoye cemetery and the Tretyakovs at Danilovskoye; the tombstone of Georgy Mikhailovich Nelepp, People’s Artist of the USSR, located at the Novodevichy Cemetery; the grave of twice Hero of the Soviet Union Georgy Mikhailovich Parshin at the Vagankovskoye cemetery; the monument-crypt of the Guchkov merchant family, located at the Preobrazhensky cemetery; the grave of the scientist Nikolai Yegorovich Zhukovsky in the necropolis of the Donskoy Monastery.
