In the Amur Region, in the village of Albazino, Skovorodinsky District, a group of Yunarmeys joined the archaeological excavations at the site of the ancient settlement Albazinsky Ostrog. All of them are students of Lyceum No. 6 and School No. 2 from Blagoveshchensk.

They found arrowheads and an ancient coin under a one and a half meter layer of soil. All artifacts are officially registered. At the end of the expedition, the found items will be sent for analysis, and after their authenticity has been established, they will become exhibits of the Amur Museum of Local Lore.

For reference:

All-Russian youth military-patriotic movement “Yunarmiya” was created in 2016 at the initiative of the Ministry of Defense and with the support of the President of Russia. Now there are more than 800 thousand participants in its ranks. The main task of the movement is patriotic education, as well as the physical, intellectual and social development of young people.
