Pilots of the Su-34 multifunctional fighter-bombers of the Southern Military District (YuVO) have worked out complex aerobatic elements and bombing at a training ground in the Rostov region.

During the flight day, the crews of the multifunctional Su-34 fighter-bombers of the mixed aviation regiment worked out the elements of complex piloting, moving at speeds up to 1900 km / h. In flight, the crews performed turns at maximum and afterburner modes of engine operation, a dive, an ascending spiral, as well as combat turns and “barrels” at an altitude of up to 6 thousand meters.

In the course of the missions, the pilots used the Khibiny electronic suppression systems, which allowed them to overcome the air defense system of the imaginary enemy. Using mounted electronic suppression systems, the crews of the multifunctional bombers of the Southern Military District created false targets for ground air defense systems and hid their real presence in the airspace.

Also, the crews worked out maneuvers to avoid return fire from air defense systems.

In total, more than 100 military personnel of the Southern Military District from among the flight personnel, the flight management group, ground and technical support took part in the training flights, about 10 Su-34 fighter-bombers and about 15 units of ground equipment were involved.
