For juvenile convicts without isolation from society, who are registered at the branch in the Kirovsky district of the criminal executive inspectorate, an excursion to the museum of the air forces and air defense of Siberia and Transbaikalia was conducted.

At the open exhibition area, teenagers were able to see samples of aircraft, anti-aircraft missile systems, radar stations, anti-aircraft guns and other military equipment. During the excursion along the Walk of Fame, the guests were told about the heroes of the Soviet Union and the deeds they performed.

In the premises of the museum, the excursionists got acquainted with the presented expositions. The minors were told how the first massive raid of German bombers on Moscow on July 22, 1941 was reflected, about the stages of formation of aviation and air defense forces from 1912 to 1945, as well as about the development of air defense and aviation troops after the end of the Great Patriotic War to the present day.

The event aroused keen interest among teenagers, they asked numerous questions and sincerely thanked the representatives of the military unit for the excursion.

“This excursion was conducted within the framework of interdepartmental preventive measures under the code name“ Teenager – Employment ”. The event was held with the aim of preventing juvenile convicts from committing crimes and offenses without isolation from society, as well as ensuring their leisure time during the summer holidays, ”commented Irina Plavinskaya, head of the Kirovsky district branch of the Penal Inspection.
