In St. Petersburg and Kronstadt, a separate guards salute division named after Marshal of Artillery Vladimir Mikhalkin will fire a festive artillery salute in honor of the Day of the Russian Navy.

Over 2.5 thousand fireworks from more than 50 types will be launched into the air. Among them: Svetlana, Slava, Rubin, Assol, Vega, Violet and others. They will be launched within 10 minutes using combined launchers of calibers from 105 to 310 mm, installed on KamAZ vehicles. In total, about 20 fireworks installations were involved for the fireworks.

One of the highlights will be a salute in the form of the State Flag of the Russian Federation from a special launch complex.

The special software, which the installations are equipped with, allows you to design and simulate a fireworks scenario, achieving an infinite variety of pictures, and to make the fireworks colorful and interesting. They work according to a ready-made scenario: the plant operator just needs to press the start button.

Currently, servicemen of the salute division of the Western Military District are loading installations for the festive artillery salute dedicated to the Day of the Navy. It will be produced at 22:30 from two points in Kronstadt and St. Petersburg.
