A dress rehearsal of the Black Sea Fleet ship parade in honor of the Day of the Russian Navy will be held in the Sevastopol Bay.

More than 1,000 servicemen will take part in it, 21 combat surface ships, a submarine, boats and support vessels and 26 aircraft from the naval aviation of the Black Sea Fleet (BSF) and the Air Force and Air Defense Army of the Southern Military District (Southern Military District) will be involved.

During the rehearsal, the coordination of actions of all participants in the parade will be worked out, the timing of the passage of naval forces and the flight of aviation, the speed of movement and the observance of the distance between the ships when passing in wake formation, the height and distance between the aviation groups and each unit when flying over the bay.

Directly on the Day of the Navy, July 25, the fleet commander will receive a parade, congratulate the crews of the Black Sea Fleet ships standing in the parade line and inspect the naval forces and aviation of the Black Sea Fleet as they pass and fly over the waters of the Sevastopol Bay from the Nakhimov Guards Order of the Moskva missile cruiser.

12 ships and boats will pass in wake formation to exit the bay, including: anti-sabotage boats, the Samum air-cushion missile ship, the Grayvoron small missile ship, the Caesar Kunikov and Novocherkassk large landing ships, as well as frigate “Admiral Grigorovich”.

The Ka-27, Mi-8AMTSh, Mi-28N, Ka-52 helicopters, the Su-30SM, Su-34, Su-27, Su-25SM, Be-12 and An-26 aircraft will be involved in the flight of aviation.

The passage of ships and the flight of aircraft will be completed within 15 minutes and will take place without demonstrating combat capabilities and performing missile, artillery firing and other combat exercises.

Evening events including a concert, holiday fireworks and fireworks have been canceled.

In preparation for the celebration of the Day of the Navy on all ships and berthing areas, in order to exclude the introduction and spread of infectious diseases, preventive measures are taken on an ongoing basis. They include the organization of incoming control with body thermometry, as well as daily disinfection and sanitization of all rooms, facilities and territories.

All personnel of the crews of ships and vessels were vaccinated in advance. All are fully provided with personal protective equipment: gloves, medical masks, antiseptics. Contact with other military personnel, civilian personnel and the local population is kept to a minimum. All participants in the festive events are under the constant supervision of military doctors.

In addition, on July 25, the day of the Russian Navy, a complex of sanitary and anti-epidemiological measures has been planned, during which the RCB protection units will disinfect all the sites for the celebration.
