A dress rehearsal of the ship parade in honor of the Day of the Russian Navy, which will be held for the second time in the Golden Horn Bay, took place in Vladivostok.

Commander of the Pacific Fleet (Pacific Fleet) Admiral Sergei Avakyants on the Uragan boat walked around the parade line, which houses 7 warships, including 5 Pacific Fleet ships and 2 missile frigates of the Naval Forces of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam.

During the dress rehearsal, the timing of the celebration, the readiness of ships and personnel for the parade were checked. Earlier, the commander of the Pacific Fleet, Admiral Sergei Avakyants, attended a rehearsal of the festive concert in honor of the Day of the Navy, which is scheduled to be held on July 25 on the pontoon of a floating crane moored at the Tsarevich embankment.

Preparations for the celebration of Navy Day in Vladivostok are taking place in strict compliance with a set of measures to counter the threat of the spread of coronavirus infection, aimed at preserving the life and health of servicemen, civilian personnel and their families.

100 percent of the crews of ships and vessels were vaccinated in advance with two components of the Gam-Covid-Vac preparation. All participants in the festive events are under the close supervision of military doctors.

The parade of Pacific Fleet ships in Vladivostok in honor of the Day of the Russian Navy will take place on July 25.
